you may or may not remember me as Stillsky. at any rate, i've changed my name. it's time for me to really focus on getting good at what i want to do. i have photoshop, illustrator, cameras, memory cards, film, a plethora of books, an infinite amount of internet resources, but for the last 4 or 5 years i've done nothing all that great with any of it.

i often argue in my own head about what the hell i want with my life. i've dabbled with web design, web development, photography, digital painting, traditional watercolor painting, digital montage, scrapbooking etc.. i'm ok with all of it, good at none of it. i'm tired of it. i feel like i didn't progress the way i would've liked because my work was a means of earning some kind of social acceptance into the mainstream creative circle(s) i followed closely. my work didn't say anything about me other than that i'm a mediocre follower. it never accurately displayed how creative i believe i can really be.

so i really like graphic design seeing as how i can employ many of the creative mediums i enjoy. my gallery may suck for a while, but i'm ok with that.
